Responsibilities
Serve as the day-to-day client lead for media-driven accounts, managing relationships across multiple businesses or business units
Build strong client partnerships grounded in trust, communication, and a deep understanding of client goals
Understand clients’ overarching business objectives and how media strategy and execution support those goals
Support media-focused accounts with working knowledge of paid search, paid social, and programmatic media, offering strategic perspective and informed client guidance
Partner closely with media team members to ensure alignment between client objectives, media strategy, and execution
Stay alert for opportunities to grow client business beyond media, identifying new ways to add value across the relationship
Lead planning, budgets, presentations, and roadmap development for assigned scopes of work
Manage project scopes, timelines, and budgets, proactively revising and communicating changes as needed
Oversee media-related financial processes, including budgeting, billing, and invoicing, ensuring accuracy and client alignment
Deliver ongoing client communications, including status updates and reporting coordination
Quickly and effectively resolve client concerns to ensure ongoing satisfaction and long-term partnership health
Collaborate closely with finance, resource management, and operations teams to support appropriate staffing and workload planning
Work closely with senior leadership, including the Group Account Director, and maintain regular collaboration with key internal partners supporting the accounts
Qualification
Required
6+ years of marketing communications experience, with 4+ years of agency experience
Strong client leadership background with a focus on relationship management, financial ownership, and strategic thinking
Working knowledge of media services, including paid search, paid social, and programmatic media, with the ability to speak confidently and strategically with clients
Experience managing scopes, budgets, forecasts, and billing processes, including media-related financial management
Strong understanding of agency workflows and cross-functional collaboration, particularly between Client Leadership and Media teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; an active listener who can lead effective client conversations and internal meetings
Experience managing, mentoring, and developing junior team members
Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Keynote (or equivalent)
