Responsibilities

Provide oversight for a portfolio of technology systems
Assist in the development and execution of the organization’s technology strategy
Ensure that technology effectively supports the organization’s mission, member services, organizational efficiency, data protection and long-term sustainability
Provide oversight of the organization’s technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with programmatic, strategic, and operational priorities
Oversee technical elements related to systems applications, cybersecurity, data management and vendor supported services, in close partnership with organizational leaders

Required

Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or similar field; Master's preferred
Minimum 10 years of progressive IT experience required
Demonstrated commitment to mission-driven work and collaborative leadership
Demonstrated experience working with non-technical executives and communicating complex technical issues in plain language
Demonstrated experience translating business-needs into technology roadmaps and vendor-deliverable requirements
Familiarity with IT service management concepts (e.g., ITIL 4) and the ability to apply them pragmatically
Experience with the software development life cycle
Proven track record in IT strategic planning, systems implementation and digital transformation, as well as project and product management
Strong understanding of and experience implementing cybersecurity, compliance, and data protection controls
Experience working with networks, enterprise-level applications (CRM, LMS, FMS), data management, analytics and business intelligence
Experience with integrating platforms and service
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Fluency in business case development and enterprise resource planning
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. A collaborator and problem solver with strict attention to detail
Deploys critical thinking and leadership skills throughout the scope of work
Experience with leading technical projects across all phases and frameworks (agile, hybrid, waterfall) and engaging with all levels of stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Ability to work on a variety of tasks and handle competing priorities with minimal supervision
Proficient computer skills, with demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite, CRM software, virtual meeting platforms
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple responsibilities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Manage a wide range of assigned projects on a day-to-day basis with moderate supervision
The ability to work effectively on team projects; collaborating with other colleagues to carry out the organization's goals and objectives
Embraces and supports change management activities within assigned business area and across organization
Strong critical, strategic, and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate trade-offs across cost, risk, capacity and impact
Exercises high degree of discretion and judgment
Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and thorough
