Configure, Inc. is seeking NOC Engineers who will serve as a tier 2 support team within the NOC team. The role involves handling more technical cases, creating training materials, developing operational procedures, and supporting NOC Agents as needed.

Responsibilities

Taking on the more technical cases that are outside of the NOC Agents ability and working the issue to resolution or proper handoff to next tier of operational support
Creating training material for NOC Agents to review
Helping develop technical operational procedures for supported technologies and hardware
Supporting NOC Agents when identified as needing additional operational learning and other opportunities for work requirements as needs of the business may require

Required

1 to 2 years of experience in network support and administration
Prior experience in network troubleshooting, system administration, IT support or a related field
Strong technical knowledge of the customers, technology, hardware, configurations and designs supported by Configure
Strong foundation in networking principles and technologies, including knowledge of IP networking, routing, switching and the TCP/IP protocols
Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools
Experience managing incidents and troubleshooting network problems
Adapted to managing complex network issues
Some supervisory experience
