Facilities EHS Manager
Calyxis Global Solutions is focused on developing and implementing Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) programs. The EHS/Facilities Manager is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting audits, training staff, managing incident investigations, and overseeing facility operations to create a safe and compliant workplace.
Responsibilities
Oversee Facilities and EHS Departments, monitors activities of the personnel and applicable EHS and facilities contractors
Maintain documentation for audits and inspections related to facility operations and environmental health and safety
Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
Develop and Maintain Process Hazard Assessments (PHA) for existing and newly introduced processes
Lead strategies for a Safety-First Culture via training programs, safety practices, emergency preparedness, hazardous waste management, sustainability initiatives and environmental impact
Primary contact between companies, regulatory agencies, service contracts for building systems, janitorial services, landscaping, fire prevention and security
Lead facility upgrades and capex projects, including equipment installation and infrastructure improvements
Develop and manage EHS and facilities budget
Participate in Lean Daily Management and EHS metrics
Supervise a team of support staff
Qualification
Required
Develop and implement Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) programs
Ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA/EPA)
Conduct audits
Train staff
Manage incident investigations
Oversee facility operations to create a safe, functional, and compliant workplace
Oversee Facilities and EHS Departments
