Responsibilities
Gather all important data required to help borrowers obtain approval
Verify information and references
Correct mistakes and investigate inconsistencies
Submit completed loan files for approval
Act as point of contact between all parties throughout the transaction
Conduct a final review of the file before closing
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as mortgage loan processor or similar position
Understanding of loan underwriting and processing procedures
Knowledge of compliance and best practices
Proficient in mortgage industry software (Encompass preferred)
Outstanding communication and customer service skills
Excellent attention to detail
Well-organized and able to handle pressure
Math skills
Bachelors degree required
