Industrial Sales Account Manager Trainee - Mobile Hydraulic Solution Sales

Responsibilities

Participate in a structured rotational development program within Fluid Power
Learn SunSource products and systems used in Heavy Duty Mobile Equipment
Receive hands-on exposure to complete systems solutions
Learn SunSource’s sales methodology
Engage in prospecting and territory planning
Manage accounts and relationships
Learn negotiation fundamentals
Develop customer problem-solving strategies
Receive in-depth technical product training on components and systems for the Mobile Equipment Industry
Gain exposure to multiple departments including Applications Engineering, Design Engineering, Sales & Marketing, Customer Service, Repair & Operations
Participate in sales and customer service training
Receive continuous mentorship and support
Gain high visibility to senior leadership
Follow a clear and defined career growth path
Spend 2–3 months in the field working alongside experienced Account Managers
Develop new business and solve real customer challenges
Upon successful completion of the GO2 program, be promoted to an Account Manager role and manage own territory

Required

Desire to build a career in industrial sales
Demonstrated technical aptitude with mechanical and/or electrical principles
Clear and concise communication, presentation, and phone skills

Entrepreneurial mindset with resilience and drive
Willingness and ability to relocate at completion of training program

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Agribusiness, or related field
Associates degree from a Fluid Power–specific program
1–2 years of related experience or internship and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
