Provide instruction to students in Cosmetology courses at the Ben Hill Irwin Campus to include college and high school students
Demonstrates the use of appropriate teaching techniques
Demonstrates the use of appropriate testing and grading procedures including proper maintenance of grade books and any other appropriate record-keeping required
Demonstrates the effective use of oral and written communication skills
Demonstrates knowledge of current cosmetology practices as regulated by the State Board of Cosmetology
Follow approved course syllabus
Completes all reports, records and other documentation in a timely manner
Ensuring a safe and healthy work environment by complying with college health and safety policies, standard practices in maintaining occupational health and safety legislation and regulations
Qualification
Required
Current Master Cosmetology License in the State of Georgia
At least one (1) year experience in-field
Ability to provide instruction to students in Cosmetology courses
Demonstrates the use of appropriate teaching techniques
Demonstrates the use of appropriate testing and grading procedures including proper maintenance of grade books and any other appropriate record-keeping required
Demonstrates the effective use of oral and written communication skills
Demonstrates knowledge of current cosmetology practices as regulated by the State Board of Cosmetology
Follow approved course syllabus

Preferred
Possess three (3) years or more experience in-field
