Learning & Development Governance Lead

Energy Access Innovations is seeking a Learning & Development (L&D) Governance Lead to ensure the effectiveness, compliance, and continuous improvement of all L&D initiatives across the organization. This role is responsible for establishing governance frameworks and maintaining documentation to support high-quality L&D practices while partnering with various stakeholders to track program outcomes and provide data-informed insights.

Responsibilities

Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of SOPs, policies, and documentation for L&D programs, ensuring consistency across all initiatives
Ensure all training programs comply with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
Conduct audits and reviews of L&D programs to maintain quality and compliance
Track and analyze learning outcomes, program effectiveness, learner engagement, and ROI
Produce regular reports and dashboards to share actionable insights
Use data to identify gaps, trends, and opportunities for improvement in curriculum, delivery, and learner outcomes
Partner with L&D Managers to evaluate training effectiveness at 30, 60, 90 days, 6 months, and 1 year post-training
Recommend improvements, updates, or corrective actions based on data, feedback, and compliance reviews
Lead initiatives to optimize L&D processes, including updating SOPs, evaluation tools, and governance frameworks
Work cross-functionally with Program Managers, Curriculum Managers, Instructional Designers, Trainers, and Facilitators to ensure programs are effective and aligned to business needs
Communicate findings, trends, and recommendations to leadership and business stakeholders in a clear, actionable manner

Required

3–5 years of experience in L&D, governance, measurement, program evaluation, or learning analytics
Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or other reporting tools
Knowledge of adult learning theory, and compliance standards
Experience in creating and maintaining SOPs, policies, and documentation for L&D programs
Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills
Leadership and strategic thinking
Analytical and data-driven decision-making
Collaboration and stakeholder engagement
Adaptability and commitment to continuous improvement
This position may require the ability to perform tasks that involve sitting, standing, walking, lifting 25+ lbs, computer work and other physical activities. Candidates should be able to meet these physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation
