Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain custom Kubernetes controllers and operators from scratch
Build production-grade services using Golang, following strong testing and coding best practices
Work directly with Kubernetes APIs, CRDs, reconciliation patterns, and resource lifecycle management
Partner with platform, DevOps, and SRE teams to support internal developer platforms
Improve system reliability, observability, and operational efficiency
Contribute to architectural decisions and long-term platform strategy
Qualification
Required
Strong professional experience developing in Golang
Hands-on experience building Kubernetes controllers/operators end-to-end
Deep understanding of Kubernetes concepts, APIs, and control-plane patterns
Experience with CRDs, controller-runtime, client-go, or similar tooling
Familiarity with cloud-native tools such as Helm, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines
Ability to work independently on complex, distributed systems
Preferred
Experience operating Kubernetes in large-scale or production environments
Background in platform engineering or infrastructure teams
Exposure to multi-cluster or multi-tenant Kubernetes architectures
Open-source contributions in the Kubernetes ecosystem
