Responsibilities
Manage borrower information flow from the Credit Portfolio Groups clients, ensuring adherence to Compliance policies regarding the handling of Private Material Non-Public Information
Review and understand legal documents (including Credit Agreements), financial materials and investment committee memoranda in connection with syndicated and unitranche loans
Operate proactively and with urgency to ensure timely delivery of credit agreement financial covenant reporting information
Navigate web-based due diligence data rooms, obtain and organize documentation
Demonstrate problem-solving and solid judgment/decision making skills
Exhibit ownership, escalation and resolution of issues when they occur in a timely manner
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with the Credit Portfolio Group, the Credit Trading Desk, operations, legal, and compliance to ensure proper and timely posting of all documentation
Ownership of internal communication, status updates and covenant compliance tracker
Field and resolve ad-hoc queries from internal and external clients
Identify and address control gaps and efficiency opportunities
Qualification
Required
2-3 years of experience in financial professional roles
Ability to work independently, pro-activity, knowing how to manage and track their portfolios
organization skills
Proficiency with excel skills (pivot tables, xlookup/vlookup)
Professional communication skills with external clients
Bachelors in finance/accounting/economy/business admin
Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel: Pivot Tables, ability to analyze large data sets)
Knowledge of Commercial OR Corporate Loan products -OR- trading operations
Preferred
Loan IQ experience
Experience reading legal documents (credit agreements)
