Responsibilities
Prepare specifications, calculations, drawings, and test plans to support design, new construction, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and facility operation
Partner with Procurement to source and qualify electrical equipment
Provide oversight and guidance to contract engineers and engineers of record for the facility’s power supply systems
Support Construction by processing RFIs, engineering change requests, and work package reviews, while reviewing document submittals
Work closely with electrical inspectors (AHJs) to ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes and standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
5+ years of experience in low-voltage power engineering design
Working knowledge of the National Electric Code, Life Safety Code, Building Codes, IEEE standards, and IEC standards
Hands-on experience with conduits, cable trays, cable selection, terminal/connection drawings, panels, and panel design
