Responsibilities

Lead EHR Optimization and Associated Project Management
Coordinate efforts to conduct assessments of how practices are currently utilizing their EHR systems and identify areas where their systems can be optimized to support ACO initiatives
Assist practices to fully leverage their existing EHR systems or other 3rd party systems to support strategic ACO initiatives
Support practices with MIPS compliance
Build and maintain strong client relationships, demonstrating expertise in EHR optimization
Lead implementation processes in which our team deploys a variety of point of care EHR integration technologies, such as overlays
Independently manage multiple projects at various stages to provide Aledade’s tools and train practice staff on patient-centric, value based workflows
Communicate project progress effectively to internal and external stakeholders
Present to audiences ranging from practice leadership/executives to front line staff, influencing adoption of best practices and materials that orient to Aledade’s service
Proficiently deliver detailed but concise training content on complex material to multiple client stakeholders
Identify common approaches, such as templates or customized reports that practices can use to achieve specific aims, such as Medicare Wellness Visits, Transitions of Care, Advance Care Planning, or Risk/Hierarchical Condition Categories
Identify existing or develop new high-quality, adult learning optimized educational materials that can assist practice staff in understanding how best to utilize their EHR system or other 3rd party systems to align with value based care principles
Understand relevant EHR vendor system updates specifically related to population health management
Develop and support EHR-system-specific user groups composed of representatives from Aledade’s ACO practices to identify best practices and training opportunities
Provide strategic input on how EHR optimization can support ACO initiatives
Serve as an in-house expert on at least 1-2 top-tier EHRs
Assist practices in ensuring data is properly captured in their EHR systems in order to accurately generate quality measure and other reporting
Ensure practices are able to share practice-generated data with Aledade
Assist with development of integrations, interfaces, and data sharing strategies for assigned practices
Ability to navigate more complex or non-standard integration paths
Lead multiple program initiatives and provide thought partnership in designated areas while collaborating across internal teams
Collaborate with senior management and/or vendors to identify opportunities for growth and innovation in EHR solutions
Deep understanding and demonstrated ability to explain the business case behind initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
Mentor and support team members, providing guidance on EHR related tasks and initiatives
Facilitate training sessions and develop educational material to enhance team member skills
Provide input in the interview and hiring process
Thinks beyond immediate team and contributes to making Aledade holistically better

Required

Bachelor's degree required; significant relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of educational requirements
6+ years experience working as a client-facing project lead in the healthcare industry (i.e., ambulatory practice, EHR vendor, health plan, hospital, government, management consulting) with a proven track record of creating, maintaining, and enhancing customer relationships and optimization of their EHR systems
3+ years implementation or optimization experience with top-tier ambulatory EHRs and practice management software, preferably with expertise in Epic Ambulatory, NextGen, Athena, Greenway, or eClinicalWorks products
Depth of knowledge in at least one top-tier ambulatory EHR solution
Strong understanding of practice workflow
Ability to travel periodically
Strong verbal and written communicator
Ability to independently manage multiple projects at various stages
Ability to communicate project progress effectively to internal and external stakeholders
Ability to present to audiences ranging from practice leadership/executives to front line staff
Ability to deliver detailed but concise training content on complex material to multiple client stakeholders
Ability to identify common approaches, such as templates or customized reports that practices can use to achieve specific aims

Preferred

Experience developing and maintaining cross team stakeholder relationships
Experience in project management
Experience leading and mentoring team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment
Deep Epic Ambulatory experience, including building and debugging OPAs and FHIR app integrations
