Responsibilities

Prepare and post journal entries
Reconcile and maintain general ledger accounts
Support month-end and year-end close
Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules
Research and resolve account discrepancies
Assist with operational and financial audit fieldwork
Perform data entry and financial analysis
Support income tax preparation for individual, business, and non-profit clients (as assigned)
Communicate clearly with clients and internal team members

Qualification

QuickBooksGeneral ledger accountingFinancial statements preparationProfessional communicationProblem-solving

Required

Experience with QuickBooks and general ledger accounting
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to analyze issues and problem-solve independently
Clear, professional communication skills
Comfort working with multiple clients or entities

Preferred

Public accounting or small-business accounting experience preferred
