Responsibilities
Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints
Review project Scope of Work to ensure quality and completeness of installation
Test integrated systems and perform troubleshooting when needed
Test point to point functionality of systems
Test and troubleshoot control programs (AMX/Crestron/Extron)
Write code for DSP systems
Load, test, and troubleshoot code for DSP systems
Write code for small AV systems
Make basic programming changes to larger AV systems
Fine-tune audio-video systems to ensure optimal performance
Act as a customer liaison in absence of the Project Manager
Responsible for final job documentation as needed
Demonstrate job site leadership
Ability to travel to various job sites
Other duties as required
Qualification
Required
Applicant should have a 2 or 4-year college degree in a technical field
Applicant must have 4 to 5 years of related experience
Applicant must have knowledge of AV fundamentals and ICIA best practices
Ability to diagnose complex system problems
Proficient with test and calibration equipment
General knowledge of TCP/IP networking, switches, routers, firewalls
Working knowledge of VTC, ATC, networking software, and hardware
Experience configuring and troubleshooting Video and Audio over IP Protocols
Experience with Extron Global Configurator and Crestron programming software
Effective communication and interaction with employees, clients, and colleagues
Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities
Ability to work and think independently and ensure to meet deadlines
Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
Proven business writing skills
Valid Driver's License with minimum 3-year clean driving record

CTS certification is preferred
Manufacturer Certifications are a plus
Biamp, Polycom, QSC, Crestron, AMX, and Extron preferred
Experience with installing or supporting AV equipment
