Responsibilities
Monitor upcoming RFP opportunities within the entire domestic and international rail industry
Internet research and marketing
Identify and evaluate sales opportunities through marketing campaigns
Assist in the drafting, production, and compilation of supporting documents for proposals and bids
Coordinate, track, and maintain data on sales, proposals, product inquiries, and literature
Create and modify literature, catalogs, and other documents using Microsoft Office Suite and Publisher
Update and maintain the company's CRM database
Qualification
Required
Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines is required
Solid organizational, administrative, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
Excellent interpersonal and marketing skills
Perform assigned tasks proactively, decisively, and independently
Highly motivated, self-starter, eager to learn, and a good team player
Proficient in using all MS Office applications
Proficient knowledge of Excel, Word, Publisher, and Adobe Illustrator is a must
Experience in Constant Contacts and CRM is a must: 2 years minimum
Experience in copywriting and content creation: 2 years minimum
Able to travel Domestically or Internationally (if needed)
Minimum of two years of demonstrated experience in communications and/or marketing
Must be able to provide copywriting material samples of previous marketing projects and campaigns
Professional references will be required
Background checks and school transcripts are required
US Citizenship or equivalent required
All applicants are required to work at IEM Headquarters in Troy, NY
Preferred
Experience in RFPs, bids, and tenders preferred
Knowledge of transportation safety and security solutions industry preferred
