Sr. .NET Developer
BRMi is a progressive information and management sciences company dedicated to serving clients in the biomedical research, public health, and small business sectors. The Senior .NET Developer will develop, enhance, and support mission-critical NCI information systems, ensuring compliance with federal security and accessibility standards.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, enhance, and maintain mission-critical NCI enterprise applications using .NET technologies
Perform advanced database development using Oracle and SQL Server, including stored procedures, triggers, packages, and functions
Analyze requirements, develop technical specifications, estimate effort, and support project planning activities
Build secure software solutions compliant with FISMA, Privacy Act, Section 508, and NIH/NCI security standards
Conduct functional, usability, performance, and accessibility testing
Execute security vulnerability scans and support remediation using tools such as NESSUS, WatchFire, or SARA
Produce and maintain technical documentation (requirements, workflows, test plans, deployment artifacts)
Provide troubleshooting, production support, and user assistance for NCI systems
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture
Deliver high-quality, secure code supporting NCI’s research and data mission
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
5+ years of enterprise application development experience in 2-tier and 3-tier environments
5+ years of database development using Oracle 11g+ and SQL Server
4+ years using TOAD or comparable database tools
4+ years of .NET development (C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, .NET Core)
Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL
Experience with Angular or other modern JavaScript frameworks
Experience with SDLC, EPLC, CMM, and ITIL best practices
Experience performing system testing and validation
Experience with federal security compliance standards (FISMA, Privacy Act, Section 508)
Experience producing technical documentation
Experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust with the NIH. Open to US Citizens and Permanent Residents only
