Sr. Internal Communications Specialist (2020-060 Temporary Staffing Services Task Order)
Abacus Service Corporation is seeking a Sr. Internal Communications Specialist to enhance their internal communications efforts. This role involves planning, writing, editing, and producing content for internal communications and managing the agency's intranet.

Responsibilities
Develop, write, edit, and deliver internal communications across multiple formats and channels
Maintain the agency's intranet, including creating content and sites, updating pages, and overseeing a network of departmental content managers
Manage the agency's intranet content calendar
Review, edit, and ensure quality and consistency of intranet content submitted by department contributors
Create, update, and maintain digital signage content
Plan, coordinate, and/or support internal events and initiatives
Take and edit photos for publishing on the agency intranet
Support video projects, including storyboarding, filming, post-editing
Qualification
Required
5 years of professional experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or related field
2 years of project management experience
Experience with Internal Communications
Experience working on websites, including page creation and support in redesigning existing content
Strong copy-editing skills
Journalism or business writing experience
Project organization skills
Experience with MS O365
Proficient in AP-style writing
Event management
Familiarity working on websites, including designing new pages and creating content
Experience communicating with remote-work employees
Experience with photography or video production
Engaging writing techniques for internal audiences
Incorporating equity and inclusion into communication practices
Ability to leverage various communication channels and tools to engage with target audiences
Knowledge of Associated Press writing style
