Bridge Structures Engineer in Training
Kimley-Horn is seeking a Structural Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join their Bridge Structures team in Jacksonville, Florida. The role involves working on various structural design efforts related to public and private bridge projects, preparing plans and specifications, and receiving mentorship and training.

Responsibilities
You will have the opportunity to work on bridges, retaining walls, and other structural design efforts related to public and/or private bridge projects throughout the country
Prepare bridge/structural plans, specifications and estimates for clients
As a critical member of the team, you will perform a variety of engineering tasks and will receive both on-the-job and formal training as well as mentorship and exposure to plan production, project financials, and client interactions
Qualification
Required
2+ years experience with a civil engineering design firm
Bachelors or Masters from an ABET accredited university in the field of Civil Engineering
Holds 'Engineer-In-Training' or 'Engineering Intern' certification
Experience utilizing software programs for general structural analysis
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
Detail-oriented with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment
Ability to work independently and as a team
