Responsibilities
Diagnose issues with returned or malfunctioning devices
Perform mechanical repairs, part replacements, and adjustments
Use hand tools, power tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment
Identify root causes and ensure proper corrective actions
Conduct functional tests before and after repairs
Inspect devices to verify performance meets specifications
Document findings, repair steps, and test results accurately
Escalate recurring or complex issues to engineering or QA
Restore used devices to like-new condition
Clean, detail, and prepare devices for redeployment
Maintain an organized repair bench and workspace
Track parts usage and inventory needs
Assist with shipping/receiving of devices as needed
Collaborate with operations, engineering, and QA on repair trends
Follow SOPs and maintain compliance with quality standards
Qualification
Required
1–3+ years of hands-on repair or service technician experience (medical device, electronics, mechanical, manufacturing, or similar)
Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills
Comfortable with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
Extremely detail-oriented with a 'fix it right the first time' mindset
Reliable, consistent, and process-driven
Strong communication skills and team-first attitude
Ability to lift up to 150 lbs
Passport required for occasional international travel
