Responsibilities
Engage in the design of mechanical systems for our welding, heating, cutting, and saw products
Create part and assembly drawings and generate bills of materials
Check design for appropriate tolerancing and manufacturability
Contribute to new designs from conception through completion
Work in collaboration with group engineers, sales, manufacturing, purchasing, and service teams
Able and willing to work a reasonable amount of overtime if required
Limited travel to customer locations as required
Will handle miscellaneous duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
2 years minimum of design and detail of parts and mechanical assemblies
Experience with parametric Solid Modeling required
Must have good technical writing and communication skills
Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
Must have a valid U.S. driver's license
Must make us aware of any surgical implants, pins, braces or other devices that could be affected by induction fields
Preferred
Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
SOLIDWORKS preferred
Hands-on fabrication experience (machining, welding, etc.) preferred
