Senior Program Specialist -SSA

This role is responsible for effective program management, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring a high-quality experience for members and visitors while managing membership services and community partnerships.

Responsibilities
Ensure diversified program, administrative, clerical and secretarial functions are completed
Oversee daily SSA office operations and ensure a welcoming, high-quality experience for members and visitors while leading and supervising staff and volunteers
Manage membership services, including registration, retention, billing, and database integrity
Develop new member benefits and serve as an ambassador to grow membership and strengthen internal and community partnerships
Plan, promote, and execute educational programs, special events, and field trips
Oversee communications such as newsletters, website content, and promotional materials
Coordinate marketing and outreach efforts
Manage contracts, vendors, space, supplies, and financial processes
Evaluate program effectiveness for continuous improvement
Support community health initiatives and reporting in collaboration with leadership and cross-functional teams
Qualification
Required
College degree required
Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience that is directly related to the designated program
One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience or one year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education
Preferred
Masters degree preferred
