Electric Engineering Technician I/II
The City of Roseville is currently accepting applications for the role of Electrical Engineering Technician I/II. The individual will play a pivotal role in expanding the Geographical Information System, maintaining distributions mapping, and analyzing geographic data.

Responsibilities
Expanding the Geographical Information System, maintaining distributions mapping and analyzing geographic data
Designing 12kV distribution plans, reviewing improvement plans and performing site inspections
Qualification
Required
One year of experience performing technical electrical engineering work that involved the design and inspection of electric utility facilities is desirable
Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth (12th) grade, GED or higher level degree supplemented by college level course work in electrical engineering, mathematics or a related field
Possession of a valid California driver's license by date of appointment
Two years of responsible experience performing duties similar to that of an Electric Engineering Technician I with the City of Roseville
Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth (12th) grade, GED or higher level degree supplemented by college level course work in electrical engineering, mathematics or a related field
Possession of a valid California driver's license by date of appointment
Preferred
Experience in AutoCAD Utility Design
Experience in ArcGIS Pro
Experience in ArcGIS Utility Network
Experience in FME
Familiarity with how a 12kV distribution system operates
