Responsibilities
Administer and manage all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, compensation, and benefits
Serve as a shared HR resource for Florida and Texas operations, ensuring consistency in policies, procedures, and practices
Partner with executive leadership and department managers to support workforce planning and organizational development
Oversee employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (including Florida and Texas)
Manage payroll coordination, benefits administration, and employee records in coordination with finance and third-party providers
Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, employee handbooks, and internal procedures
Support recruiting efforts for salaried, administrative, and field-based construction personnel
Coordinate employee training, safety compliance, and professional development initiatives
Maintain HR metrics and reporting for management review
Support change management initiatives and company growth through acquisitions or expansion as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in construction, engineering, or industrial environments
Strong working knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and best practices
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS/payroll systems
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with executive leadership
Preferred
Experience supporting multi-state operations (Florida and Texas preferred)
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
