Industrial Design Engineering Intern - Starting in January

InternGraham Packaging is a leader in sustainable packaging manufacturing and is seeking a talented design intern to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of new concepts and ideas across a range of products, while gaining hands-on experience in design techniques such as CAD and sketching.

Responsibilities
Assisting the creative team with tasks such as brainstorming, sketching, 3D CAD, renderings, and exploring different design ideas
Occasionally work on graphic layouts and sample label art for mockups and 3D printing
Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency in design software such as Fusion 360, SolidWorks, KeyShot, & Adobe Suite
Expert in sketching and conceptualization, translating ideas into tangible designs
Creative thinking and a strong portfolio showcasing design projects and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills to effectively present and articulate design concepts
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to feedback for continuous improvement
Passion for staying informed about industry trends and new design methodologies
Exceptional design sensibility for crafting visually appealing and user-friendly products
Strong analytical and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
Collaborative work approach, effective in cross-functional interactions to foster teamwork
Well-versed in consumer-led design processes, ensuring products align with market needs
Outstanding problem-solving abilities, tackling challenges with creativity and innovation
Excellent oral and written communication skills, foundational for effective collaboration
Organizational ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, maintaining attention to detail
Working towards a degree in Industrial Design, Fine Arts (BFA), or a relevant field
Fluent in English and eligible to work in the United States
Include a link to your online portfolio and/or attach a PDF portfolio
Mainly operate within an office environment, with the possibility of some flexible work hours
Preferred
Experience in both AI and UX design would be an added advantage
