Test & Evaluation Engineer
Boeing Intelligence & Analytics is a subsidiary of The Boeing Company that supports global missions through intelligence, analytics, and cyber solutions. The Test & Evaluation Engineer will be responsible for integration and testing of GMD products, supporting critical testing in various lab environments, and collaborating with a team of engineers and experts to ensure successful execution of test plans and procedures.

Responsibilities
Provide Integration and Execution Support to Engineering Development and Early Integration Labs
Participate in integration activities and implementation of the System Under Test (SUT) to support test execution activities
Work with a team of engineers, systems administrators, network engineer console operators, subject matter experts and subcontractors to coordinate all phases of integration, test, checkout and verification
Develop, review and release Test Plans and Procedures required for test execution
Utilize basic engineering troubleshooting skills and configuration management best practices
Openly communicate and collaborate across engineering and non-engineering functions
Develop, Review, and Release of Post-Test Documentation
Support relevant meetings, reviews, briefings and working groups
Work in a rapid-paced team environment
Qualification
Required
This position requires the ability to obtain a United States Security Clearance. (An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required)
Requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment
Understanding of test requirements and test objectives
Experience integrating multiple complex components into a system-level architecture
Experience documenting and trouble-shooting hardware and software anomalies
Experience developing and/or executing test procedures for critical software and hardware testing
Able to work in a collaborative environment
Good verbal and written communication skills
Level 1: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor), or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard
Level 2: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. Preferred
Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) program experience
System of systems integration experience
Strong problem-solving skills including the ability to review performance, identify root cause, and recommend solutions
Experience with Microsoft Project or other software schedule experience
Meet DoD 8570 IAT level 2 certification requirements (e.g. CompTIA Security+ or higher-level certification)
