Responsibilities
Develop and execute short- and long-term sales plans to hit aggressive growth targets across retail, club, and foodservice
Oversee all phases of sales, from lead generation to closing deals with national and regional accounts
Build strong relationships with buyers, category managers, and distributors to expand placement and maximize sales opportunities
Manage and mentor a sales team and external broker network, fostering accountability, performance, and results
Own sales budgets, forecasting, and reporting; deliver accurate projections and ensure ROI-driven decisions
Identify new sales channels, demographics, and promotional opportunities to strengthen CFD’s market leadership
Represent CFD at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings, showcasing our products and expanding visibility
Work closely with marketing, operations, and leadership to align sales strategies with company objectives
Qualification
Required
7 years in sales, with a minimum of 5 years in a Sales Manager role, consistently delivering growth
Background in the food industry - preferably specialty frozen, retail grocery, club stores, or foodservice
Experience leading high-performing sales teams and managing broker networks
Strong negotiation skills with proven success meeting with buyers/category managers and closing national/regional deals
Ability to develop innovative sales initiatives, product positioning, and pricing strategies that win market share
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools
Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or equivalent
