Responsibilities
Provide Applications support for pre and post sales activities for the Microcalorimetry product line
Run customer samples, while generating reports in an effort to close sales
Provide post sales training and trouble-shooting
Teach training courses, both lecture based and hands-on at New Castle, Utah and at customer sites
Provide technical expertise to customers by email, phone, and in person
Provide technical expertise for Sales Representatives on site assisting in the closure of business
Hold technical presentations during sales calls
Teach demonstrations both in the New Castle/Utah office, field offices, and at customer sites
Qualification
Required
Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in the field of Biophysical Chemistry or Protein Chemistry
Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant analytical experience in industry or academia
Has a clear understanding of the science of Microcalorimetry with experience in Isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC), Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and Isothermal calorimetry
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Ability to travel by both air and ground carrier
International travel is required. Expected travel is 40-50%
Preferred
Ph.D
A working knowledge of thermal characterization of polymers and pharmaceuticals is a plus
