Human Resources Administrative Assistant

The HR Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Human Resources department, assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations while maintaining accurate records and supporting HR initiatives.

Responsibilities

Assist administratively with the day-to-day operations of HR functions and duties
Administer employment life cycle processes utilizing HRIS, payroll, and Talent Management systems, including employee transfers, job classification changes, salary increases, and other employment matters
Track and communicate employee birthdays and service anniversaries per established protocol
Prepare and maintain personnel-related documentation and reports (staffing, uniforms, training, grievances, performance evaluations, etc.)
Administer post-employment badging processes for government contract requirements
Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed
Respond to employee requests regarding HR issues, rules, and regulations
Support the handling of complaints, grievance procedures, and disciplinary actions
Act as a back-up to Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Coordinator when necessary

Required

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent work experience
0–2 years of experience in HR or administrative role
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Global and cultural awareness
Basic knowledge of employment law
Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) or similar software
Ability to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks
Minimum 18 years of age
Successful Pre-Employment Drug
Successful Background Check
Full time onsite
Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, State and Federal regulations
