Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day operations of the tax department
Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability for manager-level leaders
Own full departmental leadership responsibilities under EOS
Facilitate weekly leadership meetings and drive execution on priorities
Lead large-scale quarterly meetings and department-wide communications
Serve as the primary liaison between partners and the tax organization
Translate firm strategy into clear goals, expectations, and outcomes
Guide teams through growth, change, and organizational transitions
Identify operational bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions
Strengthen performance management, feedback, and development practices
Support people integration and change management for future acquisitions
Drive clarity, consistency, and follow-through across the department
Foster engagement, morale, and a culture of accountability
Partner with senior leadership on long-term department planning
Champion continuous improvement across people, process, and structure
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
7+ years of people leadership experience, ideally leading a department of 15+ people
Comfortable driving change, addressing morale challenges, and guiding teams through growth
Confident communicator who can lead large meetings and deliver candid feedback with empathy
Preferred
Background in tax is helpful but not required
