They are seeking an Intern - Field Support to assist with fire protection operations, including design, installation, and inspection of systems while learning from experienced technicians.

Responsibilities

Participate in day-to-day tasks within assigned departments (field or office), supporting fire protection operations
Observe and assist with the design, installation, or inspection of sprinkler and alarm systems
Engage in safety briefings, job site walk-throughs, and project planning activities
Shadow experienced technicians and learn industry best practices and compliance standards
Attend scheduled learning sessions and career development meetings
Complete assigned projects or tasks with guidance from mentors and supervisors
Follow company safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment
Represent VSC Fire & Security in a professional and respectful manner at all times

Required

Must be at least 16 years of age (or per state requirements for employment of minors)
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from high school, trade school, or technical program
Interest in construction, fire protection, engineering, skilled trades, or public safety
Willingness to learn, ask questions, and follow instructions
Ability to work in a team environment and follow safety protocols
Reliable transportation to and from the assigned internship location
