Responsibilities

Define and own a comprehensive digital activation and performance strategy that aligns with client business goals, growth targets, and broader marketing objectives
Translate evolving digital trends, platforms, and technologies into scalable, actionable strategies for clients and internal teams
Serve as a senior thought leader shaping Ptarmigan’s digital activation roadmap and future capabilities
Oversee the strategic design, execution, and optimization of paid social, paid search, programmatic, and performance-driven digital campaigns, ensuring best-in-class execution across the full lifecycle
Ensure digital investments are informed by data, audience insights, and clear performance benchmarks (KPIs, ROI, efficiency metrics)
Establish and monitor performance frameworks, ensuring rigorous measurement across SEO, paid media, content performance, and customer engagement metrics
Translate complex data into clear, executive-level insights and recommendations that inform optimization and investment decisions
Own accountability for performance outcomes, continuous improvement, and optimization best practices
Build, lead, and mentor high-performing, multidisciplinary digital teams (activation, performance, analytics, and platform specialists)
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and professional growth
Guide senior team members in managing day-to-day execution while maintaining a strategic, future-focused perspective
Partner closely with account, strategy, creative, analytics, and executive leadership to ensure cohesive, integrated marketing solutions
Act as a key strategic advisor to client stakeholders, sales teams, and internal leadership to align digital initiatives with broader organizational objectives
Manage and oversee digital budgets, forecasting, pacing, and financial performance across channels
Implement scalable processes, governance, and best practices to improve operational efficiency, quality, and consistency
Manage relationships with external vendors, platforms, and technology partners

Qualification

Required

15+ years of experience in digital marketing, performance media, or related fields (agency or client-side) - Finance experience is a huge plus
Proven success as a senior leader setting digital strategy and guiding large, cross-functional teams
Deep expertise across digital channels, platforms, ad technologies, and analytics tools
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to connect digital performance to business outcomes
Demonstrated experience managing budgets, performance metrics, and executive-level reporting
Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
