Responsibilities

Ensures health and safety policies are maintained at the highest level
Excellent communication and leadership skills, including the ability to set goals, motivate, manage conflict, drive change, and implement corrective actions as needed
Proficient understanding and adherence to customer-specific requirements related to product labeling and packaging, including ISO & IATF standards as defined within process ownership
Ensures that the department is properly staffed, within the established budget, to meet customer requirements while accurately assessing the performance of subordinates to develop a high-performing team
Extensive knowledge of departmental policies, procedures, and work instructions
Competent with company ERP system, cycle-count program, material disposition process, and logistical standards
Effective and professional interaction with Customer Service Representatives to consistently maintain a high-level of customer support and ensure all pertinent information regarding delivery status is communicated timely and accurately
Consults with Production Control and Quality Control to ensure product inventory levels are maintained to support customer demands
Coordinates with Purchasing Department with regards to incoming deliveries of raw material, inter-company transfers, import products and supplies
Strong ability to investigate, apply critical-thinking, problem solve and reconcile inventory and/or shipment discrepancies as needed
Oversees the development of procedures for conducting department operations, while ensuring that company policies and regulations are properly enforced
Responsible for inspection of the physical condition of warehouse and equipment. Prepares maintenance work orders for repairs and files requisitions for the replacement of equipment
