The 5-Axis Composites CNC Machining Specialist will operate CNC machinery, interpret technical documents, and ensure products meet stringent quality requirements while collaborating with a team to solve machining challenges.

Responsibilities
Own CNC operations, including set-ups for complex 3- and 5-axis vertical and horizontal milling
Run equipment in accordance with internal processes and all required documentation (drawings, specifications, and related travelers)
Interpret travelers/blueprints/sketches to manufacture products that meet stringent quality requirements
Inspect and verify work against specifications, adjusting processes as needed
Collaborate within a team environment to rethink approaches, improve methods, and solve unique machining challenges—there’s no one-size-fits-all here
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in CNC manufacturing
Fluency in reading blueprints and technical documents
Comfort making thoughtful modifications to improve parts, processes, and outcomes
Ability to multi-task and operate effectively in a complex environment
Proficiency with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, etc.)
Basic computer literacy
Ability to read, speak, write, and understand basic English
Solid math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Sound judgment to follow instructions delivered in written, oral, or diagram form
Preferred
Skilled Trade/Technical Certification
