Jr. Financial Advisor
State Bank of Southern Utah is seeking a Junior Financial Advisor to work alongside a Senior Financial Advisor. The role involves understanding client goals and providing financial solutions, fostering long-term relationships, and supporting the development of investment strategies.

Responsibilities
Primarily support the Senior Financial Advisor in servicing existing clients and prospecting new clients
Build rapport with customers/clients and foster long-term relationships
A desire to help others, both financially and through community involvement
Knowledge of personal investment products such as mutual funds, stocks, bonds, money market funds, fixed and variable annuities
Oversee client investment portfolio: understand client’s needs and short/long term objectives, develop an investment timeline with income/liquidity requirements, identify client’s investment experience and risk tolerance, provide advice that results in greater protection and/or improved profit, develop asset allocation strategies, select investment product(s) and execute proper, accurate market transactions
Develop and implement goals, policies, and procedures
Periodically meets with client to review and update client needs ensuring investment objectives and goals are progressing according to plan. Meetings to occur monthly, quarterly and/or yearly depending on client needs
Provide regular feedback to the branch employees, and bank management regarding sales practices, cross sell opportunities, and business development initiatives
Pursues training, educational and self-development opportunities—not only to assure mandatory CE requirements are satisfied but to increase skill level and remain current on tax, financial, estate, investment, and retirement developments and laws
Represents the Bank by being active in the community. Actively participates in service organizations, community activities, etc. to promote a positive organization image and to generate leads for the new business efforts
Develop New business from referrals of existing clients and centers of influence
Formulate and strengthen long lasting, trusting, client relationships providing consistent client communication and outstanding client service
Facilitate a variety of ongoing business growth initiatives to include client events, consumer education
Comply with legal and regulatory guidelines
Qualification
Required
Must pass a credit & background check
High School Graduate or (GED)
Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred
Associate's or bachelor's degree
Prior work experience in Financial Advising
Series 7 & 66 securities licenses
