Responsibilities
Support the North American sales team and sales partners with application feasibility studies, sensor selection and configuration, system set-up recommendations, software integration
Communicate customers’ requirements to technical teams at the headquarters in Germany and provide input on future product developments required
Lead technical discovery calls with customers to understand measurement requirements, application details, and environmental constraints. Log information in CRM and other online tools
Conduct meetings for demonstrations, training, technical support, roadmap alignment. Meetings can be online or at customer sites with up to 30% of travel (primarily domestic, some international)
Continuously deepen product expertise to effectively position new capabilities and enhancements for customer success
Analyze customer environments and use cases to recommend optimized sensing and inspection solutions
Work AT trade show booth at exhibitions and maintain local lab equipment
Qualification
Required
Ability to grasp and explain complex technical concepts
Highly desired experience in at least one: programming (C++ or Python), optical systems, machine/computer vision, 3D, thermography, PLCs, robotics
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proactive and solution-oriented approach
Excellent time management, problem solving, and organizational skills
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, electrical or software
Six to ten years in a technical or related role
