Responsibilities
Partner with the CEO and the Board of Directors to set and execute strategic goals, policies, and long-term direction
Ensure organizational performance, accountability, and alignment with approved initiatives
Lead business development and marketing strategy, including branding, communications, social media, and community partnerships
Conduct market research to identify opportunities and emerging trends, and develop strategies to expand market reach
Build and maintain relationships with clients and referral partners, creating proposals and presentations as needed
Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
Oversee governance functions and support Board and committee initiatives
Serve on executive team for trust officers
Mentor Trust Officers and collaborate with attorneys and external professionals
Represent the organization in professional associations and community settings
Perform additional duties as needed to support organizational and client success
Qualification
Required
6+ years of experience in trust administration, estate planning, or investment management, including experience in business development and growing assets under management (AUM)
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
Strong analytical skills to interpret complex trust agreements and ensure proper administration
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively, exercising discretion, sound judgment, and effective problem-solving
Excellent organizational, attention-to-detail, and negotiation skills
Willingness to travel moderately for business, both planned and unplanned
Preferred
Master's degree preferred
Professional credentials and licensing are strongly preferred, including the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 7, Series 63 or 66, and designations such as CTFA or CFP
