Responsibilities
Design and produce original visual content for printed materials, web-based platforms, exhibits, and command briefings
Ensure all products are compliant with Air Force and CENTCOM visual communication policies
Use Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) or contractor-furnished equipment when necessary (contractor bears cost of non-GFE)
Collaborate with CCPA leadership and staff to plan and coordinate the design of visual information products
Incorporate feedback and industry best practices into all design deliverables
Evaluate mission requirements and define visual communication objectives
Develop detailed project plans that align with CENTCOM’s strategic communication goals
Conceptualize and present design ideas to CCPA leadership
Translate complex information into visually engaging and accessible formats
Test graphics across multiple media platforms to ensure consistency, clarity, and visual appeal
Implement quality control measures and maintain high standards of design excellence
Be available to support 24/7 surge requirements during crises or unforeseen events as directed by the CCPA Director
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in professional graphic design, preferably in a government or military setting
Must have TS/SCI clearance
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects)
Strong understanding of visual design principles, typography, color theory, and layout
Familiarity with CENTCOM's mission, structure, and AOR
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a high-tempo environment
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Preferred
Experience supporting Combatant Command or DoD-level public affairs operations
Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility standards and digital publishing best practices
Experience with motion graphics, infographics, and interactive media
