Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institution location
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notification of management, and coordination with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as directed
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points, including lobby areas, entrances, drive-up areas, parking lots, and around ATM and cash handling zones as assigned
Monitor access points and visitor flow, help to deter unauthorized entry, and verify identification, appointments, and/or access authorization in accordance with location policies
Observe and report unusual activity, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations, and complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and other security-related documentation
Operate and monitor security-related systems such as video surveillance, alarms, radios, and access control equipment when assigned, and promptly report malfunctions or irregularities
Provide an Armed Universal presence through high-visibility patrol and professional interaction, assisting with customer questions, directions, and general assistance while maintaining professional boundaries
Support opening and closing procedures as assigned, including checking doors, gates, and restricted areas, and reporting unsecured conditions or maintenance issues that could impact operations

Required

Customer service experience is preferred
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
