Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain complex iOS features using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit
Act as a senior technical contributor within a cross functional pod, owning features from design through release
Provide day to day technical guidance and support to other developers within the pod, helping with design decisions, implementation approaches, and problem solving
Help coordinate work across the pod to ensure dependencies are clear, work is sequenced effectively, and delivery remains on track
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and QA to shape solutions that balance user experience, performance, and maintainability
Help guide technical implementation decisions within the pod and align with broader iOS platform standards
Integrate RESTful APIs and collaborate with backend teams on API design and evolution
Ensure high code quality through thoughtful design, unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to platform best practices
Partner with QE resources to improve testability and support automation efforts across the iOS codebase
Contribute to CI and CD pipelines and support a reliable release process
Participate actively in sprint planning, estimation, retrospectives, and cross pod technical discussions
Monitor app performance, crashes, and analytics, and proactively address issues impacting user experience
Identify and help drive down technical debt while balancing delivery commitments
Mentor mid level developers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance
Qualification
Required
5 plus years of professional iOS development experience on production, client facing applications
Strong expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit, with the ability to navigate and evolve mixed UI stacks
Experience building and maintaining modular, scalable iOS architectures
Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, networking, and REST based integrations
Experience debugging complex issues and optimizing app performance and stability
Familiarity with automated testing strategies and modern mobile build and release pipelines
Ability to work autonomously within a pod while collaborating effectively across teams
Clear communication skills and a strong sense of ownership
Preferred
Experience with video playback, HLS streaming, or ad tech frameworks
Familiarity with feature flags, experimentation, and analytics tooling
Experience working in multi app or multi brand iOS environments
Prior experience contributing to shared platform libraries or frameworks
