Responsibilities
Design, build, and evaluate custom automated systems tailored to project needs
Program and manage control systems, including PLCs, servo/stepper drives, attenuators, sensors, RFID units, and switches
Develop control logic using ladder logic, structured text, visual blocks, and control charts
Create and revise circuit schematics and wiring diagrams using Solid-works, Auto-CAD, or comparable CAD tools
Support the development, coding, and validation of HMI interfaces
Lead and supervise multidisciplinary project teams to ensure deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met
Plan and execute functional testing of new hardware designs
Conduct occasional domestic and international site visits for installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting
Research, evaluate, and recommend upgraded or alternative engineering components
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electromechanical, or Computer Engineering (or related field)
Minimum 0-5 years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment
At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
Proficiency in electrical schematic design and PLC ladder logic programming
Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to kneel, lift up to 40 lbs unassisted, and identify small/color-coded components
Valid driver's license and ability to obtain gaming/casino licensing if required
Preferred
Experience with RFID systems and manual microelectronic assembly
PCB design, fault isolation, and diagnostics expertise
Knowledge of RFID antenna and enclosure design with signal propagation considerations
Understanding of wireless ID protocol selection and sensor/reader placement optimisation
