Procurement Manager/Procurement Director

Responsibilities
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with operational security requirements and business objectives
Lead and manage the procurement function, including policy development, governance, and team oversight (Director level)
Advise executive management on procurement risks, cost optimization, and supplier market trends
Establish long-term sourcing strategies for critical and high-risk categories
Identify, evaluate, and approve suppliers with strict due diligence, security vetting, and compliance checks
Negotiate contracts, pricing, service-level agreements (SLAs), and confidentiality clauses
Manage supplier performance, audits, renewals, and risk mitigation plans
Ensure continuity of supply for mission-critical items and services
Ensure procurement activities comply with banking regulations, security standards, local laws, and internal controls
Manage procurement-related risks, including supplier failure, fraud, data breaches, and operational disruptions
Work closely with Security, Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams on sensitive procurements
Maintain audit-ready procurement records and documentation
Oversee procurement of: Armored vehicles and spare parts, Cash handling and counting machines, Security systems (CCTV, alarms, tracking, access control), Weapons, ammunition, and protective gear (where permitted), Fuel, maintenance, and logistics services, Uniforms, safes, vaults, and consumables, IT systems supporting route planning, tracking, and reporting
Optimize total cost of ownership while ensuring operational reliability
Prepare and manage procurement budgets
Deliver cost savings initiatives without compromising safety or service quality
Monitor spend, forecasts, and procurement KPIs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or related field
7–10+ years of procurement experience, preferably in banking, security services, logistics, or cash-in-transit operations
Proven experience managing high-risk, regulated, or security-sensitive procurement categories
Leadership experience required for Director level
Strong negotiation and contract management skills
Deep understanding of security, compliance, and risk management in procurement
Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information
Strong analytical, financial, and decision-making skills
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
High integrity, discretion, and attention to detail
Preferred
Master's degree preferred for Director level
