Responsibilities
Coordinate projects internally and externally
Prepare drainage studies and hydraulic reports for bridges and culverts
Design stormwater management systems for site development projects
Conduct floodplain studies and erosion control planning
Obtain and manage local, state, and federal permits
Assist with preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates, and supporting documentation
Perform field investigations as required
Maintain organized project documentation and calculations
Coordinate with vendors and project stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum of 5 years of experience with emphasis on stormwater management design and analysis
Professional Engineer (PE) license required
Experience with regulatory permitting agencies and governing standards
Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills
Hydrologic and hydraulic calculations for small and large watersheds
Phase I & II stormwater design
Storm sewer and detention modeling
Grading, erosion, and sediment control plan development
Floodplain studies and stormwater BMP design
Proficiency with modeling software including: HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, TR-20, XP-SWMM
Proficient in Microsoft Office, MicroStation, and/or AutoCAD
Completion of INDOT SWQCPs is a plus
Preferred
CFM and/or CPESC preferred or ability to obtain
Experience with GeoPak, Civil 3D, or GIS preferred
