They are seeking a founding-minded iOS engineer who can own the end-to-end implementation of a native iOS MVP from Figma to TestFlight/App Store.

Responsibilities
Translate a complete Figma design into a production-ready native iOS app (Swift/SwiftUI or UIKit)
Define architecture, navigation, and state management for the MVP
Implement core flows: onboarding, account, recording/tracking sets, viewing analytics, and basic settings
Integrate with backend APIs (existing or to-be-defined) for auth, data sync, and analytics
Own app performance and UX polish: smooth animations, responsive UI, and reliable offline behavior where needed
Set up the iOS project for scale: clean module structure, dependency management, environment/config handling
Handle the release pipeline: certificates, profiles, builds, TestFlight, and App Store submission for the MVP
Collaborate with the founder on feature scoping, prioritization, and roadmap based on early DJ feedback
Qualification
Required
2+ years of hands-on iOS development experience shipping apps (personal, freelance, or production)
Strong command of Swift and native iOS frameworks; comfortable with SwiftUI and/or UIKit
Proven ability to turn design systems (Figma/Sketch/XD) into clean, reusable components
Solid understanding of networking, REST/JSON, and common iOS patterns (MVVM, VIPER, or equivalent)
Experience with local storage (UserDefaults, Keychain, Core Data, or similar) and basic offline UX
Comfortable working in an early-stage, ambiguous environment with high ownership and low oversight
Preferred
Interest or experience in audio, music tech, or DJing; prior work with audio recording/processing or real-time visualizations
