Staffing Coordinator

Blackberry Farm is seeking a Staffing Coordinator responsible for recruiting and hiring team members while assisting the HR team with various duties. The role includes managing the applicant tracking system, conducting interviews, and ensuring compliance with employment laws.

Responsibilities

Assists with daily maintenance of the team member database and the Applicant Tracking System (Paycom)
Must be able to work in coordination with other Staffing Coordinators and the HR team
Conducts compliant screening interviews to ensure the best fit for applicants and hiring departments
Must demonstrate employment law knowledge and ensure the recruitment process is compliant with relevant employment laws
Assists with any administrative processes that occur in the HR Department, as needed
Utilizes the Time to Fill report to accurately assess proactive recruitment methods and staffing levels
Responds to all applicants, team members, and managers in a timely manner
Ensuring a positive candidate experience from application through onboarding
Ensures that the recruitment process, paperwork, and protocol are appropriately followed to include phone screen, interviews, follow-up with managers, offers both verbal and written, reference checks, background checks, MVR checks, orientation, property tours if necessary, and collection of all necessary new hire paperwork
Must be able to occasionally travel off-property to colleges and career fairs both local and out-of-state
Maintains, creates, and updates job descriptions company-wide
Maintains and updates daily applicant tracking report
Maintains Blackberry career website to ensure accurate job postings and ensure internal job postings are timely
Complies with reasonable work-related requests from any member of the management

Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals
Must be able to sit at a computer for long periods of time and move about the property as necessary

Preferred

College Degree Highly Preferred
Basic knowledge of HR programs
Two or more years in HR role preferred
High volume staffing experience strongly preferred
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking System preferred
Fluent in Spanish is a plus
Basic knowledge and understanding of math and Excel
