Responsibilities
Design, train, and iterate on deep learning models that understand CAD workflows and predict high-quality next steps
Turn real-world geometry and design data into usable training signals
Build and maintain Python training and evaluation pipelines, including preprocessing, experimentation, and metrics
Own ML features from idea to production, deployment, and monitoring
Architect fast, reliable model-serving systems that integrate directly into CAD environments
Work closely with founders and early customers to translate real workflows into ML formulations
Collaborate with backend engineers on APIs, data pipelines, and infrastructure
Set best practices for experimentation, logging, and model comparison
Stay close to current ML research and apply it pragmatically where it matters
Qualification
Required
4+ years of hands-on ML experience, or equivalent research background
Deep experience training models, not just calling hosted APIs
Strong Python engineering skills with clean, production-ready code
Expert-level familiarity with PyTorch or similar frameworks
Experience owning ML systems end to end, from data to deployment
Comfort with ambiguous problems and high ownership
Clear communicator who can explain trade-offs to both technical and non-technical teammates
