Responsibilities
Build and operate high-throughput APIs and backend services handling thousands of concurrent requests
Architect ingestion → processing → delivery pipelines for complex workflows
Implement long-running, stateful workflows (e.g., Temporal-style systems)
Design and optimize relational database schemas and queries for performance and reliability
Own CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, deployments, and observability
Qualification
Required
Mid-level to senior backend / platform engineers (roughly 3–8 years of experience)
Strong experience building APIs, backend services, and production data systems
Comfortable operating as a generalist across backend, infrastructure, and data
Able to work independently with high ownership in an early-stage environment
Motivated by impact and real-world problems, not titles or narrow scope
Preferred
A mix of startup and larger tech company experience is a strong plus
