The role involves building relationships with prospective customers, initially focusing on inside sales and cold calling, and eventually managing accounts to meet their transportation needs.

Building relationships with prospective customers to provide top-notch service
Cold calling and pursuing leads for new customers
Initially selling Trinity’s services to the customer
Continually servicing customer’s ever-growing transportation needs
Qualification
Required
Superior interpersonal and communication skills; problem solving and decision making
Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business data and reports, as well as ability to write reports and professional business correspondence
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to learn new software and computer systems
Disciplined organizational and multi-tasking skills required with a strong attention to detail
Demonstrates the ability to connect with others on a personal level to create an openness and trust in the relationship whether with team members, customers or stakeholders

Preferred
Previous experience in a customer facing role preferred but not required
Experience in logistics preferred but not required
Familiarity with CRM and BI systems helpful and generally strong computer skills
