Botsfolio is an exciting crypto startup focused on simplifying crypto investments for everyday investors. They are seeking a hands-on Chief Technology Officer to drive the technology vision, build a high-quality engineering team, and scale their B2C technology platform to accommodate a growing user base.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the overall technology strategy aligned with Botsfolio’s business goals
Architect and scale a high-performance B2C platform (frontend & backend)
Lead development of core product features related to portfolio copying, automation and analytics
Own system design, scalability, reliability and security (especially critical in crypto/fintech)
Be hands-on with coding in the early stages and gradually transition into a leadership role
Build, mentor and manage the engineering team
Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, CI/CD and DevOps
Place systems to deliver fast and reliable releases
Stay up to date with crypto, blockchain and fintech trends

Required

Exposure to crypto, fintech or financial systems is required
8–12 years of overall software development experience
Strong experience building and scaling B2C products
Backend expertise in Python & Django
Frontend experience with React.js and Next.js
Experience designing REST APIs, microservices and scalable architectures
Solid understanding of databases, caching, queues and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
Experience with performance optimization, security and system reliability
Proven technical and people leadership experience
Startup mindset: comfortable with ambiguity and fast execution
Strong problem solving and decision making skills
Ability to balance speed with long-term technical excellence
Passion for crypto, investing and building products
