Responsibilities
Lead architecture planning, design, and migration of mission-critical systems to Azure and other approved cloud environments in accordance with DoDAF v2.02
Administer and optimize Microsoft Azure IaaS/PaaS environments, including resource groups, virtual networks, storage accounts, and access controls
Manage Windows Server 2019/2022 infrastructure, including configuration, patch management, Active Directory, PKI, and GPO administration
Implement system modernization strategies including performance tuning, capacity planning, incident response, and disaster recovery
Integration of various technologies as tasked by government process through configuration control board and execution of process through test platform
Maintenance of RMF Continuous Monitoring of assigned servers through submission of STIG checklists and POA&Ms quarterly
Management of SSL website certificates and server certificates on required assets
Configuration and management of a Development/Test/Staging environment that mimics Production functions
Supporting migration of cloud-based environments and handling cloud-to-cloud migrations
Integrate automation and configuration management tools to ensure scalability, security, and reliability
Administer and optimize Microsoft Azure IaaS/PaaS environments, including Azure DevOps (ADO) pipelines, repos, boards, and artifacts to support CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and release management
Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure Linux-based systems in a multi-cloud environment (AWS, Azure), leveraging automation and configuration management tools to ensure high availability and reliability

Required
SECRET security clearance required
Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's preferred)
5+ years' experience as an Enterprise or Chief Architect, specifically in an Azure environment
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solution Architect Expert
CISSP
ITILv4
Experience integrating Terraform, ARM/Bicep templates, or other IaC tools with ADO pipelines for automated provisioning and compliance enforcement
Proficiency in current Microsoft server operating systems, Simple Mail Transfer Protocol, Internet Information Services (IIS) 8.5 and 10, PKI and other authentication methods, Domain Name Server, and Active Directory
Knowledge of Ports and Protocols, Cloud Services, and Backup Services
Ability to respond quickly to work requests or technical issues, and dive deeper if the answer is unknown
Expert knowledge and experience working in Experience in Microsoft Windows systems, Microsoft Azure and work with Network Security Groups
Experience in maintaining large Active Directory using multiple authentication sources
Experience in ITSM and ITIL processes
Expert experience with hands-on systems planning and migration from on-prem to the cloud
Experience in writing complex PowerShell scripts to enable automation
Preferred
Experience and understanding of Linux Systems supporting a cloud environment
Experience in database administration in multiple different database platforms, MS SQL, Oracle, base, MySQL
Understanding of networking and networking devices (e.g., F5 configuration)
Experience and knowledge configuring GPOs for Window O/S that follow NIST 800-171 and NIST 800-53
Understanding the different Information levels and using Microsoft Service Manager
Experience and understanding of the Department of Defense Risk Management Framework process
Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on communication in a report environment to our contract team and to our Government stakeholders
Guide and mentor less experienced team members, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes continuous learning and skill development across the team
Act as a mentor and coach to junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to help them grow and develop their skills
Collaborate effectively in a remote cross matrixed team environment
