Senior LevelZolon Tech Inc. is seeking a Senior Training Specialist responsible for developing and implementing training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge. The role involves creating training materials, delivering sessions, and evaluating program effectiveness while collaborating with stakeholders to address training needs.

Responsibilities
Developing training materials, including manuals, presentations, and online resources
Delivering training sessions, workshops, and seminars
Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and making recommendations for improvement
Leading the design and development of new training programs
Providing guidance and mentorship to junior training staff
Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify training needs and develop appropriate solutions
Managing training budgets and resources
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
Keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices in training and development
Contributing to the overall development and implementation of the organization's training strategy
Qualification
Required
Solid background in Distribution Electric operations, including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), print reading, basic electrical theory, and construction standards
Familiarity with compliance training, refresher programs, and safety protocols
Ability to deliver curriculum for classroom and field training
Conduct assessments and supervise practical exercises
Strong presentation and instructional skills for diverse audiences
Proven understanding of safety policies, EFPT (Electrical Field Practices Training), and risk management
Work closely with Training Supervisors and Electric Operations leadership
Distribution Lineman qualified - Aerial or underground
Preferred
Prior experience as a Foreman, Crew Leader, or equivalent field role preferred
Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor employees in technical and safety practices
Experienced lineman, splicer, or safety professional able to present and demonstrate annual OSHA compliance training, as well as work area protection, shoring and trenching, and rigging training
